No, I haven't been pregnant and I didn't just give birth. We are licensed foster parents who have agreed to adopt teens would would normally age out of the system without having a family. We have looked into possibilities before but never found a match.
A few months ago we were contacted about Micheala. Everyone thought we would be a good match. We actually had to just figure it out without meeting her! We watched her video, saw her profile, talked to people who knew her, and read her file. She seemed like she would fit right in. We talked about it several times as a family and everyone was on board.
We finally got to meet her and she's amazing! She fits perfectly in with the family and she even looks like us. She's sweet, likes the little kids, and they absolutely adore her!
We brought her home for the weekend. She survived grapes, baking day, and tons of kids that adore her, and still wants to do this! I'm picking her up tomorrow for another round! Let's see how it goes.
