Apparently, it's Sunday

We are now an official Rehm family. Dinner is served after midnight, the party starts after one, and yes, my kids have even been found outside watching the sunrise, but not because they woke up early.

New baby Lisa has been a challenge. She likes to grunt, gurgle, and make noises, but only when I'm trying to sleep. As long as I hold her, she's quiet. So it makes it very difficult to sleep. Some nights my only hope is to wait for Peter to take her when he wakes up so I can get some rest. It kind of makes for very messed up days and nights.

So I think I missed a few days in this week. And so have the kids. I find them sleeping during the day and partying all night. It's hard to moderate when I'm dealing with a fussy baby and Peter's busy working.

Even though we have "released" the product by doing a first press release, we have had absolutely no bites on it. So Peter is working on the next update to the software, and we'll send out another press release Tuesday or Wednesday. Hopefully that one will "take" better. But if not, Peter has more programming to do, so we'll keep updating the product and trying again until we get this thing to work.

By the way, if you know of anyone who wants some really cool note taking software, please let them know about us!

I guess it's good night for now. Or is it good morning? I'm really not sure any more.

  1. First, congrats on the launch! That's a big accomplishment. Your dedication is astonishing.

Next, don't be discouraged about the lack of bites so far. This is just the beginning. The economy is in the crapper. Eventually, online and magazine reviewers will get around to testing the product and giving it some publicity, which will give it a real introduction to the public. Have you considered advertising in university newspapers? Those rates are cheap, and the market is HIGHLY targeted.

Listen, the product is great, the price is right, and this will succeed. Just needs time to go from inertia to rolling along...
