I'm new to blogging. Quite frankly, I'm still trying to figure out what all of the fuss is about. I don't have any exotic travels to talk about, or any cute pictures to post. Pretty much all I do all day is take care of a very hungry baby while attempting (unfortunatlely, sometimes vainly) to get a shower in.
So, for a few items of news.
I have finished all of my requirements for graduation, and I will be graduating from BYU in August with a Bachelor of General Studies with an emphasis in Family Life. The standing joke is that I've already passed all of the labs, and it was just a matter of finishing the course work.
PerfectNotes is almost done. Well, ok, it's never done. There is no such thing as done in software. But. The web site is up (http://www.perfectnotes.com/), the newest version is online, Peter is finishing the order processing to make it more streamlined, and if all goes well the first press release will go out tonight. Hope it goes well! I'll keep you posted.
Lisa is doing well. We had a brief scare when the doctor called when she was a week old to say that she had a genetic disorder called galactosemia. Fortunately, she has a more mild version. So we've had to put her onto soy formula, which her tummy doesn't like. So we spent her first month working with the doctor to try different formulas. Fortunately, we found one that she is doing well on and she is starting to gain weight and feel better.
That's it for now. Hopefully when we get this product release done we can start going to bed before 4 AM and maybe even go back to just working 8 hours a day. How nice would that be? We'll see. That's all for now. I'll update more when I have more news.
