It's Tuesday Already?

So I'm sitting here holding a baby who has been refusing to sleep staring groggily at my computer screen. I'm exhausted and elated all at the same time. But why is the sun up? It supposed to still be Monday!

I'm exhausted because I was up all night. I'm still confused as to why it is even daylight. That happened way too fast. I worked all night with Peter. We have been trying to launch our new product, PerfectNotes for a long time. It has been 16 years in the making. We have worked on it off and on, developing different versions and applying for various patents.

But a few months ago, maybe 6 or 8, I really have no idea, we decided to commit all of our time an resources to getting it launched. We have put every dollar, every moment, and every rational thought we had into getting this product done.

Peter has been working literally 16 hour days, and on occasion 20. I worked at least 8 hour days while being 9 months pregnant with constant contractions. You do what it takes.

After many delays we finally managed to get the press release out this morning. It was a very weird moment when I realized the web site was done, the order processing in place, and the product was in a good state and available online. Nothing is ever done, and nothing is ever perfect, but it was done enough.

It's a day I never thought would happen. A part of me thought we would simply keep working on this release for the rest of our lives.

But here it goes! Hopefully it gets picked up and hopefully everything goes well. In the mean time, if you want to check out the new site, go to www.PerfectNotes.com. Tell us what you think! We'd love your opinion.

  2. WooHoo !!
Congratulations on PerfectNotes being done and up and running and all of that....

    What an achievement.

Now the two of you need to put that brainpower together and make a dinky little Apple iPhone app that will sell a billion copies.

Apparently, the developer kits are very easy to use. I see an iPhone version of puzzle games coming out of your mad scientist's laboratory... and money coming in....
