I'm determined that before school starts we're going to clear some of the clutter out of here. It's really getting annyoying to have baskets of random stuff all over.
So over the last few weeks we've been working on and off to clean out various rooms. We tackled the fruit room, the craft room, and the laundry room on one Saturday. This last Saturday we packed up all of the camping gear, and cleaned out and organized the garage.
In the mean time we've been piling all of the non-garbage in the great room. Tomorrow is the day we're going to go through the remaining rooms, grab the rest of the junk boxes, and hopefully start sorting. I'm hoping to have it done by Tuesday.
I actually wanted to start sorting on Saturday. But after the garage project, everyone was hot and tired and hungry. They negotiated with me to put it off to Monday, and I agreed (mostly because I was too hot and tired to do it too!).
I'll let you know how it goes. I'm hoping we can get rid of a lot of junk and make this house a little easier to clean before school starts.
