During July, we got news that Susan, Ursula's roommate, was going to be leaving for a trip for about a week and we would have to take Ursula.
Now, that doesn't work so well. Stephanie has real resentment issues towards her, because every time Ursula stays with us she stays in Stephanie's room. Stephanie hates that. Ursula also tries to control Stephanie and tell her what to do and where to go, something that doesn't work with my independent minded little kids.
The first several times Ursula stayed with us, I had Stephanie potty trained, but only until Ursula moved in. Being disrupted, changing bedrooms and bathrooms, not having everything set up right, and the change would set her off and she would lose whatever skills she had previously learned.
So this had happened several times already. And again, I barely had Stephanie potty trained when we were going to end up with Ursula again! Peter and I said enough of this. The only problem though was that there weren't many other options.
Peter ended up moving to Provo for that week and living with Ursula. He would sleep there, work there, and then bring her to our house for dinner and then go back to Provo. Let's just say that was a hard week.
Now we get a call from Susan that she has a job working at a fruit stand and we have to take Ursula all day, from 9 AM to about 7 PM. We're still trying to figure out how to work it all out, but let's just say it's going to be a bad two months.
I'm taking 14 kids to Springville this year for school. The van holds 15. That's me and the kids and no car seats and no babies. Taking them to school is fine. Peter will leave to go to his mom's house when I get back from Springville. The problem is I'm trying to figure out what to do with Stephanie and Lisa when I go to pick up kids. I can't take them with me and they're too little to leave. I'll have to figure something out. Ugh.
