Birthday Season is Almost Over!

When I told Peter I liked having a Spring baby and let's try to put our babies in the spring, I never thought about the unintended consequences.

I really did try to have babies in February, March, April, and May to spread them out a bit, but the way it all worked is they mostly showed up in May.

It all starts with our Anniversary (ironic, isn't it?). April 29th starts off the event season. Followed closely on its heels is Mandy's birthday on May 6th (not to be confused with my sister Emily's birthday on May 5th). Following that we have Sara's birthday on May 15th (yep, the same day as my brother). The odd one is Julia's birthday on May 31st. She was born exactly one year after my Mom died. (Hence the name). Less than a week later we have Lisa's birthday on June 6th.

Now normally at this point I'm celebrating that I've survived (financially and otherwise) 1 anniversary and 4 birthdays. But now Megan has decided to move the celebration of her birthday 6 months previous. The way things work out with girls camp, we're celebrating on June 17th instead of the 25th (yes for those who are counting, she was born on Christmas).

So now instead of being done, I'm almost done. At least until August 28th. Jeffrey already has his birthday all planned out for me! And poor Stephanie can't figure out why everyone gets a birthday other than her. She has to wait all the way until November 2nd, two days after Halloween. Difficult to explain to a 4-year-old.

I think that whoever up there planned my kids' birthdays has a sense of humor.
