The kids decided they didn't want to do their bake sale today, which was perfectly fine with me! So I spent a lazy Saturday morning updating my recipe blog.
My cousin Jake introduced me to WordPress. It's interesting. It gives you more flexibility, but it's a little harder to use than Blogger. So I'm playing with WordPress at the same time I'm trying to get all of my recipes in one place.
I have a recipe book that was my mother's recipes that I put together when I was a Laurel doing my Young Women's project. It's nice, but I've found I've gathered a lot of new recipes from friends and the internet and they're all piled up in my recipe cupboard.
I also wanted to gather all in one place what I've learned about cooking, tips, techniques, how to cook on a budget, lists of ideas, as well as the recipes I've gathered over the years, for my kids and others who ask me for recipes.
So it's started. Not nearly everything is added, but more recipes are added every week. Feel free to take a look at it and give me your comments and feedback. If you see an idea you want to try but the recipe isn't up yet, let me know and I'll add it. Thanks for looking!
