Blogs are Cool!

Yea, so for any of you reading this, I'm just a little behind the times. The younger generation is growing up with some pretty cool things available to them, and yes, I'm jealous that they know about all of this cool stuff and I don't.

So I made a discovery today. Blogs! Yea, I know, I have one and I'm writing one and so therefore I should know all about them. Right? Wrong. So Andra, my sister in law, showed me about 6 months ago how she could put a list of blogs she follows on her site. Then she can see who posted recently to their blog and click and go read right from her site. I thought that was cool.

But I just figured out how to post that to my site. And I was so proud of myself that I can now figure out who recently posted and keep up to date.

But then it gets even better!!! (I feel like I'm doing an infomercial to people who already bought the product). I found out that some of my cousins have those on their blogs. Which means that I can go through their lists and find blogs for my aunts, uncles, and cousins. Which means I can find out more about what is going on with my family that I never hear about! Cool, huh? Yes, I know, I'm going to get "Obvious, duh" from the younger generation, but for tonight I'm proud of myself that I was able to figure that out and start reconnecting with some of my, what feels like anyway, long lost family. Hooray for technology!
